OI Suggests Sizable Longs Added On Wednesday

US TSY FUTURES

The richening in Tsy futures coupled with the uptick in preliminary open interest readings across all of the major contracts points to the setting of fresh longs driving net positioning swings on Wednesday, with Fed Chair Powell’s post-FOMC decision reference to policy being in restrictive territory likely emboldening bulls. The most notable OI moves came in FV & TY futures, with a large ~$8mn OI DV01 equivalent addition noted across the futures curve.
