US

The US Department of Defense has published a fact sheet listing all US security assistance committed to Ukraine.

  • Pentagon: "In total, the United States has committed more than $33.2 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden Administration, including more than $32.5 billion since the beginning of Russia’s unprovoked and brutal invasion on February 24, 2022."
  • Today, the State Department announced an additional USD$350m package of assistance include HIMARS, howitzers, and Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles.
  • Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement: "We applaud the more than 50 countries that have come together to provide support for Ukraine as it defends its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Russia alone could end its war today. Until Russia does we will stand united with Ukraine for as long as it takes."
  • The announcement comes as a public show of support for Ukraine as Chinese President Xi Jinping holds a bilateral meeting in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss a Chinese "position paper" designed as a blueprint for resolving the conflict.
