Sec Gen-Need Credible Arrangement For Ukraine Post-War Security Guarantee

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has just finished speaking at a presser in Oslo. On Ukraine, states that foreign ministers have discussed upgrading the NATO-Ukraine Commission to a NATO-Ukraine Council, adding 'We must ensure that, when the war ends, we have credible arrangements in place to guarantee Ukraine's security.' Says that the details of the framework for any guarantee is yet to be worked out.'

• Stoltenberg confirms that he will travel to Ankara for talks with the Turkish gov't in order to impress NATO's desire to see Sweden's accession ratified as soon as possible.
• OnNorth Korea, Stoltenberg 'strongly condemns' Pyongyang's failed satellite launch, calling on the Kim regime to 'cease these provocative actions.'
• On the violence in northern Kosovo, states that NATO is ready to deploy more troops to the region to quell any further escalation. This follows deployment of additional 700 NATO troops earlier this week.
