US TSY/RECAP: Tsys traded weaker on Tuesday, with T-Notes going out at session
lows as equity futures rallied after the cash close, aided by Facebook's
engagement trends being better than many feared in its quarterly earnings
report.
- Better sellers were seen amid two-way flow, with corp-supply hedging in short
end, better swap-tied selling in short-end to intermediates, as well as decent
option-tied buying vs. puts on early weakness, bank portfolio and real money
a/c's were selling the long end late on. Fast$ and prop acct bought/covered
shorts post Cons Conf.
- Data picks up Wednesday: September ADP private payrolls, Q3 ECI, Q3 non-farm
productivity and Oct MNI Chicago PMI will all hit.
- T-Notes last 118.21+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 3.123%.
