VdL Outlines Econ Security Plans & EUR50bn In Ukraine Aid

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has announced a major EUR50bn aid package for Ukraine over the next four years that comes after a review of the EU's 2021-27 multiannual financial framework (the long-term EU budget) and in advance of the 21-22 June Ukraine Recovery Conference taking place in London. VdL states that the package will be formed of grants and loans.
