ENERGY – What to Watch
- The updated Insights European product ARA inventories will be released today. Europe ARA Gasoil stocks were well below normal at 1.689m mt last week, compared to the 5-year average of approximately 2.61m mt. European ARA Gasoline stocks were last week up at 1.29m mt compared to an average of 0.98m mt for this time of year.
- The latest EIA weekly gas inventories for the week ending Sep 23 will be released this afternoon at 15:30BST. Total US stocks are still 9% below the 5-year average despite building in recent weeks on the back of high production. The expectation is for another strong build of 95bcf this week compared to +103bcf and the 5-year average for this time of year of +70bcf.
