FOREX: With regional equities trading in negative territory the antipodeans came
under some selling pressure during the Asia-Pacific session. Kiwi was the first
to react, edging lower from $0.7432 to $0.7392 and was last at $0.7401. Aussie
soon followed, the pair drifted lower from around $0.7965 to $0.7915 before
firmer ore and copper prices, Dalian ore (+2.0%) and Shanghai copper (+0.60%)
lent to support. Aussie was last at $0.7933. Dollar-yen trekked modestly lower
from Y110.83 to Y110.58 and was last at Y110.66. Meanwhile, Euro-dollar
currently trades at $1.1846 and Cable at $1.3219, after trading in respective
ranges of $1.1834 to $1.1859 and $1.3209 to $1.3233.
