AUD/JPY: Highest Since Late September

AUD/JPY extended its post BpJ gains yesterday ticking higher as risk appetite improved through Wednesday's session as US Equities rose and the FOMC kept rates steady.

  • The pair is now ~2% higher this week and last prints at ¥96.60/65 the highest level in the cross since late September.
  • With the uptrend intact bulls now target a break of the high from 30 Sep (¥96.92). This opens high from 19 June (¥97.675) and ¥98.13 a Fibonacci projection.
  • On the downside the 20-Day EMA (¥95.34) is the first target for bears, a break of the measure opens ¥94 handle and the 200-Day EMA (¥93.52).
