  • The president of the Colombian Association of Fund and Pension Administrators (Asofondos), Santiago Montenegro, rejected the remarks made by the presidential candidate, Gustavo Petro , in the framework of the debate in Semana Magazine, where he criticized the work of the private funds of pension in Colombia.
  • "Asofondos wants to draw attention to the lies that Gustavo Petro has uttered, it is not true that the pension funds have invested in the Chirajara Bridge," he said.
  • Montenegro also called on the political leaders for a debate where the pension system in the country is analyzed with experts.
  • "Asofondos wants to invite the candidates and the general public to have an informed debate, based on figures and rationally on this issue that is so important for our country ," Montenegro pointed out.
