Core FI Hold Tight Ranges

BOND SUMMARY

T-Notes continue to hold a tight 0-02 range, last deals +0-01+ at 139-05+. Cash curve runs very marginally flatter and lower. Eurodollars last seen unch. to +1.0 tick through the reds. Little in the way of headline/market flow to provide some impetus, after news from over the weekend was shrugged off.

  • JGB futures dipped early into the Tokyo session, but now trades off lows; last +14 at 151.76. Belly outperforms in cash trade. Little of note in Japanese preliminary Q2 GDP data and subsequent comments from Econ Min Nishimura.
  • Australian YM trades -0.5 and XM is unch, as we type. Cash ACGB yields marginally higher, save for 2s. Bills last seen unch. to -1 tick through the reds. Today's ACGB 2.75% Jun 2035 supply was solid enough, cover ratio was comfortably above 3.00x.
