JGB futures finished the final overnight.......>

JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures finished the final overnight session of last week 6 ticks
below Tokyo settlement, after a brief show above Friday's onshore session peak,
before fading.
- Weekend news flow has focused on the very real prospect of an extension of the
national state of emergency (beyond May 6), while Economy Nishimura has been
working from home after an official that he had been in contact with earlier
this month tested posted for COVID-19.
- On the fiscal side, the Nikkei reported that "Japan is working on a subsidy to
ensure that temporarily idled small-business employees receive 100% of their
wages during the current state of emergency."
- Focus today will of course fall on the BoJ's latest MonPol decision (see our
preview for deeper details).
