LNG

The INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG project in Australia expected to resume 50% production rate by Oct. 10 and full runs in November, a company spokesperson told Platts.

  • The issues at Train 2 caused a shutdown of the unit Aug. 20, having only been restarted July 28.
  • INPEX is building the framework for production of 9.3m mtpa from Ichthys by debottlenecking the facility. Current nameplate capacity is 8.9m mtpa.
