Romanian Refineries Source Russian Crude Alternatives

Romanian refineries have found alternative crude sources from December when the Russian ban takes affect according to Energy Minister Virgil Popescu.

  • “We held talks with all refinery owners at the ministry yesterday and absolutely all of them, including Lukoil told us they have found alternative oil sources from Dec. 5,” he said.
  • The Petromidia refinery uses Kazak crude.
