US LNG Netbacks Still Favour Asia: BNEF
LNG
Asia remains the most profitable market for US LNG until at least November as of May 23, although Europe has narrowed the APAC premium due to a faster rising TTF, BNEF said.
- For July delivery, Asia earns a netback of $8.09/MMBtu, down 4 cents/MMBtu on the day. Meanwhile, Europe earns a netback of $7.41/MMBtu for July arrival, up 1 cent/MMBtu.
- For August, the Asia netback is $8.22/MMBtu, up 6 cents/MMBtu on the day. This remains above Europe’s $7.50/MMBtu netback for August, up 2 cents/MMBtu.
- In September, Asia’s netback is up 10 cents/MMBtu on the day at $8.47/MMBtu, while Europe’s netback is up 5 cents/MMBtu to $7.84/MMBtu.
