President Biden is shortly due to deliver a speech in Northfield, Minnesota on his 'Bidenomics' domestic investment agenda, kicking off a nationwide tour from Biden administration officials designed to highlight Biden's policy successes to counter negative polling on his handling of the economy.   • According to a White House fact sheetBiden, "will announce over $5 billion in new investments from his Investing in America agenda, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, to advance rural prosperity, economic development, competition, and sustainability. President Biden will also discuss how Bidenomics and his Investing in America agenda are ensuring rural Americans do not have to leave their hometowns to find opportunity."
  • Reuters reports that the trip is, "the first stop in what the White House is billing as a two-week "barnstorming" tour... Thirteen top administration officials will visit rural places in 15 states, including election battlegrounds like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Arizona, to highlight investments in rural communities, where one in five Americans live."
  • Biden may also use the speech to deliver short remarks on the US response to Israel. During recent remarks, alongside Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Biden staked out a more assertive tone on the war and called on Israeli to make a "concerted effort" towards a two-state solution.
